Caster oil… ??

My mom told me that in her natural cures book, the treatment for acne was caster oil.. No not to drink, but to put on my face over night. On the back i read that it is for constipation… My brother put it on his face and he said it worked like a charm ! But… won’t this “oil” make me breakout more??

Actually, sometimes the application of oils or moisturizers is the best combatant against pimples. This is because dry skin goes into overdrive producing its own oils, and this can clog up the works. If you restore a healthy balance to your skin by the application of a moisturizer (which contain oils!) it can sometimes clear up the problem. I’ve never heard of castor oil being used in this way before, but if you want to try it out, let me know the results!
castor oil is a really good beauty tool actually. i use it as eye make up remover and put it on my eyelashed to keep them full and strong. it doesn’t clog up my skin at all. just make sure to wash your face two times a day. it’s so inexpensive, just try it out for a week (that’s a good time period, or if you want the full affect, three weeks), and if it doesn’t work out, just stop using it. i see know reason why it wouldn’t work.
