Review: Tarte Clean Slate foundation primer!

This is my review of the Tarte Clean Slate Foundation Primer. Blog: www.mouthoffmakeup.com Tarte’s website: tartecosmetics.com Here is the detailed information on the main ingredients and what that do for your skin: avocado oil: pressed from the fleshy pulp surrounding the pit, this natural oil is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E and protein and has known skin soothing properties echinacea root extract: antibacterial properties have been known to decrease inflammation and promote tissue regeneration hibiscus flower extract: contains antioxidant properties which help to maintain the skin’s elasticity skinTIGHT complex: proprietary anti-cellulite complex that firms and tones skin while improving elasticity rosemary leaf extract: derived from a shrub native to the Mediterranean this natural herbal extract has been known to increase blood circulation safflower seed oil: vegetable derived oil with deep moisturizing capabilities which has been used to treat eczema t5 super fruit complex™: The tarte t5 super fruit complex™ is a proprietary blend of the five most active superfruits: goji, acai, maracuja, acerola and pomegranate. The first blend of its kind, the t5 super fruit complex™ is loaded with naturally occurring, antioxidant rich nutrients and vitamins that have been known to deliver refining, anti-aging and skin-restorative benefits with each application

FTC: I purchased this on my own, and none of the companies even know who I am ;) lol. Jojoba oil is an all natural oil taken from the seeds of a desert plant. It is similar to your skin’s natural sebum, making it ideal for moisturizing dry areas. I use this: On my sin (legs mostly :) ) On my hair as a leave in treatment, and mixed with my conditioner On my Cuticles On my lips Also, to remove stubborn eye makeup. It is safe for use around the eyes, and does a fantastic job of getting that makeup off. I also use it to clean my brushes used for gel eyeliner. Final thoughts: It’s pretty much amazing, and for you can’t go wrong.

@iCaandyx Thanks so much :) . This is the makeup I did in my everyday makeup video. I filmed this just after that one :)

  • LetsMakeitUp1:

@Josephine0193 haha I have no idea. I’ve never tried it. What are you using to exfoliate? It might be too harsh. There’s a thin line between just right and not enough exfoliating and that line can be annoying to find lol.

  • LetsMakeitUp1:

@jenngarciala730 It’s the look I did for my everyday makeup video :) . I legit filmed this maybe 15 minutes after that one :)

  • aLoveTart:

I absolutely LOVE oils for the skin. I think it’s the best way to moisturize- it feels the most real and not waxy at all if that makes any sense! I just found you and subbed, you’re so adorable and I’m lovin’ the vids!

    YOUR BEAUTIFUL :0

  • iCaandyx:

omg, i have really dry skin, hair, AND lips, so thank you so much for showing a product that can do all 3 :)

btw i loove your makeup on this video, you look flawless! can i request a tutorial? haha thanks in advance!

  • Josephine0193:

I just went ahead and got the Aloe Vera baby oil. They didn’t have jojoba, but hopefully this will work just the same. I put it all over my face. How long do you think it will take before it soaks up completely? It’a annoying me that my face is so oily :D

  • MsVictoria881:

I have that same brand of jojoba! I use it on dry hair, though! I rub 2 drops between my hands, then rub the very ends of my hair first. With the excess, I rub the remaining bottom half of the length of my hair. Since the oil is thin, my hair absorbs it all, so there is no greasiness whatsoever!

  • Josephine0193:

This is great, thank you! Remember on my video I told you that I had really dry skin especially around my nose and you suggested exfoliating and it worked for a while but now my skin is just getting even worse. So thanks, I definitely try this.

@LetsMakeitUp1 okayy, thank youu! (: i’m definetly going to try this out!

  • LetsMakeitUp1:

@nicoleelovessyouu Good question! When your hair is wet. I do it while mine is still very wet so that it doesn’t get oily. Also, it doesn’t repair split ends, but it helps prevent them.

  • seeyourvoice:

    :) i must buy some.

  • karenarguilla:

lol. i know how you feel.. i live in fl… so i sweat my lotion too.

  • nicoleelovessyouu:

when you use it on your split ends, when do you put it in your hair?

  • schwarzyfication:

very useful..sometimes a good advise it’s just what we need!:))

  • moyse001:
